  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. (to be borne by the client that is directly payable on the spot)
  • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to an increase in cost on surface Transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing (Approx.155 KM / 5-6 Hours) On your arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) by Flight 6E-618 at 10:50 AM, you will be welcomed by our representative after that drive towards Phuentsholing – The Gateway to Bhutan from India; it is a thriving commercial centre on the edge of the Northern Plains of India. Phuentsholing to Thimphu (Approx.150 KM / 4-5 Hours)

Today in the morning complete your entry formalities and then drive towards Thimphu, Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan, and it is naturally the most populous city in the country with over 120000. By Bhutan’s standard, it is a melting pot of different ethnic groups but also of international communities, made up of mainly expatriates, on arrival check-in to the hotel and later visit Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion), this Dzong is the Royal Secretariat which houses the Golden Throne Room, Office of His Majesty the King, seat of the Royal Government and the summer residence of His Holiness the Je Khenpo & Monk Body. Thimphu Local Sightseeing

Today after breakfast go on a local sightseeing tour of Thimphu and visit

the Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, Folk Heritage Museum, Buddha Dordenma, Dechen Phodrang Monastery (Palace of Great Bliss) and Bhutan Textile Museum. Later return to your hotel and the evening at leisure Overnight stay at Thimphu

Thimphu to Punakha (Approx.85 KM / 2-3 Hours)

Today after breakfast drive towards Punakha, en-route stop at the Dochula Pass (3150 Meter / 10330 Feet) and visit the “Druk Wangyal Chortens” which contain 108 memorial chortens, on arrival in Punakha check-in to the hotel and after some rest go on a sightseeing tour of Punakha, Punakha was the capital of Bhutan till 1955 after that the capital was moved to Thimphu, here visit the Punakha Dzong (the palace of great happiness or bliss) it is the Winter Residence of Bhutan’s Central Monastic Body, later visit the Chimi Lhakhang also known as the” Fertility Temple”. Punakha to Paro (Approx.125 KM / 4-5 Hours)

Today early morning drive towards Paro, on arrival check-in to the hotel and later Visit the National Museum, the museum is originally set in Paro Ta Dzong, an ancient watchtower but due to the earthquake, the watchtower has suffered a lot of damage so, it has been moved to another building just above the old watchtower. The view of the valley below is fascinating and good place to take photographs, later if time permits visit Rinpung Dzong (Fortress of Heap of Jewels), it houses the district monastic body and government administrative offices of Paro District and also visit Kichu Lhakhang (temple) built by the Tibetan Buddhist King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century. Under the Royal patronage of Her Majesty the Royal Grandmother Ashi Kesang Choden Wangchuck, this Lhakhang has been restored to its former glory like many other similar monasteries in the country, later return to

Paro – Tiger’s Nest – Paro

Today after breakfast drive towards the base camp for Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang), start your hike to the most famous Taktshang (Tiger’s Lair or Nest), the Temple clings on to a sheer cliff of 3,000 feet above the valley. Guru Padmasambhava, popularly known as Guru Rinpoche), the great Indian Saint, who brought Buddhism to Tibet and Bhutan, came on a flying Tigress and meditated here in a cave that is now concealed behind a carved wooden grille in the inner sanctum of the temple.
