Bodhgaya (arrival)
Arrive at the Bodhgaya Airport or Railway Station. You will be greeted by
Visit Bihar representative and you will get transfer to your pre booked
hotel. Check in and rest for few hours and then go to visitMahabodhi temple,
Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana or Diamond Throne and The Animesh Lochana in Bodhgaya.
Stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 3
Varanasi
Today after breakfast, get driven to Sarnath, Located thirteen kilometers
northeast of Varanasi, Sarnath is the auspicious place where Lord Buddha
gave his first sermon in the deer park after attaining enlightenment at
Bodhgaya. Set amidst well-maintained gardens, Sarnath’s ruins are a pleasant
place for a stroll or for meditation. Evening back to Varanasi, visit holy
Ghats of River Ganga along with ancient Hindu temple. Return to hotel for
overnight stay.
Varanasi – Saravasti
Today after breakfast check out from hotel and get driven to Saravasti. On
arrival check in to your pre booked hotel. Later visit Saravasti – is full
of old stupas, majestic monasteries and several temples. The city is
believed to be founded by Mythological King Saravasti and has old stupas,
majestic monasteries and several temples. Visit Jetvana Gardens and Anand
Bodhi Tree. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Lumbini – Kushinagar
After having breakfast, check out and get driven to Kushinagar- It was here
Lord Buddha ended his earthly journey passed into Mahaparinirvana. On
arrival in Kushinagar, check in to your pre booked hotel. Later visit
Mahaparinirvana Temple and Mutkabandha Stupa- believed to have been built to
preserve the relics of Buddha. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 6
Kushinagar – Vaishali – Patna
Today after breakfast, check out from hotel and get driven to Patna, Enroute
visit Vaishali; It was here that the Buddha announced the approaching of his
Mahaparinirvana. Visit 4th century Buddha Stupa I and II and Kolhua (Ashokan
Lion Pillar) where Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon and World Peace
Pagoda. Evening reach Patna, on arrival check in at your pre booked hotel
and stay overnight.
DAY 9
Bodhgaya (departure)
Today after breakfast visit Dungreshwari Caves, 80 ft Buddha Statue,
different countryMonasteries, Archaeological Museum and Sujata Garh. Later
check out from hotel and driven to airport or Railway Station for your
onwards journey to home.
