Highlights of your Journey
Arrival Cochin
Arrive at Cochin. You will be greeted & assisted upon arrival. You will be
met by Superb India Tours representative, holding a placard with your name
on it at the exit. Reach at the designated hotel, check in, relax a bit and
proceed for a relaxed de tour to the local throbbing and unique market.
Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Cochin
Have breakfast at the hotel and leave for full day sightseeing which
includes St. Francis Church, Kochi Fort, Santa Cruz Cathedral, Jewish
Synagogue, Dutch Palace etc. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 2
DAY 3
Cochin-Munnar
Have breakfast at the hotel and leave for Munnar. In the afternoon reach at
Munnar, check in at the hotel. Relax and refresh a bit and leave for full
day sightseeing.
Munnar, a hill station, is located at an altitude of about 1800 metres at
the confluence of three mountain ranges, the hill station really soothes the
spirit and satisfies the soul. It is a paradise for a nature lover, bird
watcher and photographer. Munnar is a delight for the trekker and camper
also. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Munnnar-Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
After early morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed for, in the morning,
hills and nature tour. Late in the afternoon, proceed for Periyar National
Park. Arrival at Periyar National Park, check in at hotel and relax.
Thekkady- Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary: This is one of the finest wildlife
sanctuaries in India. Popularly known as the Periyar National Park, it
abounds in herds of wild elephants, wild boar, bison, deer and tiger too.
The lake which was artificially formed by the dam has submerged some portion
of the forest. Leafless tree trunks of huge trees can still be seen standing
in the lake. A large variety of birds take refuge in the lake and forests.
Hence, it is a paradise for nature lover and the bird watcher. The best
season to visit the sanctuary is between November to June.
DAY 5
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
After early morning breakfast at the hotel, enjoy morning and evening boat
cruise and witness the wild elephants frolicking in the lake or go for bird
watching. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary-Kumarakom
After early morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Kumarakom. On arrival
in Kumarakom, check in at the designated hotel. Kumarakom, a resort
destination on the Kuttanad backwaters, is world renowned for enjoying
languid days on Vembanad Lake. The best way to enjoy Kumarakom is to sail
through the backwaters slowly, leisurely and languidly on a traditional
Kettuvallam, the traditional rice boat -turned- houseboat, and forget the
trials and tribulations of modern life in crowded cities. Return to hotel
for overnight stay.
DAY 6
Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary
This is a popularly known bird sanctuary for migratory birds situated on an
island west of Kottayam. It is a much sought after holiday destination for
backwater experience. The island is surrounded by Vembanad Lake. The
breathtaking view of the lake during the dawn and dusk and the glimpse of
the formations of birds flapping in and out of the bird sanctuary can be
seen from any spot of the island. Reach Pathiramanal island, an ideal midway
point for backwater picnic amidst the birds, on traditional Kettuvallam
through waterways past paddy and coconut groves, mangroves, along fresh
water canals and rivultes that fall into Vembanad Lake. Return to hotel for
overnight stay.
Kumarakom – Kovalam
After early morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Kovalam. On arrival
in Kovalam, check in at the designated hotel, refresh & proceed for the
refreshing beaches of Kovalam to rejuvenate yourself. Kovalam Beach is 14
kms from Tiruvananthapuram. The major attraction of the town is the Kovalam
Beach. The Kovalam beach is one of the finest beach of India and certainly
the best beach of Kerala. Return to Kovalam hotel for overnight stay.

Have breakfast at the hotel and spend day at leisure on Goa beach.
Kovalam- Trivendrum
After early morning breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit Trivendrum.
Visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Museum and Art Gallery. Return to Kovalam
hotel for overnight stay.

Trivendrum- Departure
Have relaxed breakfast at the hotel and proceed for Trivendrum airport to
