Arrival Cochin
On Arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway Station – You will be greeted by our
representative and transfer to your hotel. A port town since early
centuries, Cochin offers you some fascinating snippets of history and
culture. Check in to Hotel at Cochin. Relax and unwind at the hotel. Today,
go for an optional sightseeing tour to explore the many fascinating
highlights of Cochin which include – The Jewish Synagogue in what is locally
called the Jew Town, St. Francis Church which is the oldest European Church
in India. Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort at Cochin.
DAY 3
Munnar
Today you could take a visit to Tea Gardens, Mattupetty Lake, Dam, Echo
Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai (home to the endangered
Nilgiri Thar mountain goat amongst others), Wild Life Sanctuary. Overnight
stay in Hotel.
Munnar – Periyar (Thekkady) (100Km)
After breakfast check out from hotel. Drive to Periyar an area known for its
undulating hills, spice plantations. Check into your hotel. Elephant ride,
over stay at hotel.
Periyar – Alappy (Houseboat) (164Km) – Kumarakom
Breakfast and check out from hotel. Drive to Alleppey and embark on your
private houseboat and cruise on the Backwaters, a splendid area full of
canals, lakes and coves. Your houseboats or ‘Kettuvalloms’ are luxurious
boats with well appointed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. You can sunbathe
on the deck or observe the palm fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart
from the mesmerizing surroundings it’s the life along the backwaters that
makes this a fascinating experience.Overnight on board.
DAY 6
Alappy – Kumarakam (30Km)
After breakfast disembark from houseboat at Kumarkam. Kumarakam is famous
for lagoon and backwaters. Check in to hotel, relax unwind.
DAY 9
Kumarakam – Departure.(76Kms)
Check out from hotel and travel to Cochin Airport/Railway Station.
