Highlights of your Journey

DAY 1

Arrival Cochin- Munnar (130Kms)

On Arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway Station – You will be greeted by our 
representative and transfer to your hotel. A port town since early 
centuries, Cochin offers you some fascinating snippets of history and 
culture. Check in to Hotel at Cochin. Relax and unwind at the hotel. Today, 
go for an optional sightseeing tour to explore the many fascinating 
highlights of Cochin which include. The Jewish Synagogue in what is locally 
called the Jew Town, St. Francis Church which is the oldest European Church 
in India. Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort at Cochin.

Cochin-Munnar (130Km)

Today after breakfast check out from hotel. Drive to Munnar a hill station 
located 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile 
British administration in South India it still retains its colonial charm 
and is famous for its tea plantations, rolling hills, picture postcard 
hamlets and undulating valleys. Check into your hotel and unwind.

DAY 2

Munnar

Today you could take a visit to Tea Gardens, Mattupetty Lake, Dam, Echo 
Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai (home to the endangered 
Nilgiri Thar mountain goat amongst others), Wild Life Sanctuary. Overnight 
stay in Hotel.

Munnar – Periyar (Thekkady) (100Kms)

After breakfast check out from the hotel. Visit the tea museum, take a short 
trip to the Eravikulam National Park or simply walk through the tea estates. 
Drive to Periyar an area known for its undulating hills, spice plantations, 
and elephant sightings. One of the 27 tiger reserves in India, the Periyar 
valley in Thekkady is the oldest. Check into your hotel.

DAY 4

DAY 5

Periyar – Alappuzha (Alappy) (164Kms) – Kumarakom (30Kms)

Breakfast and check out from hotel. Drive to Alleppey and embark on your 
private houseboat and cruise on the Backwaters, a splendid area full of 
canals, lakes and coves. Your houseboats or ‘Kettuvalloms’ are luxurious 
boats with well appointed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms.The meals will be 
served in the boat at free of coast. You can sunbathe on the deck or observe 
the palm fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart from the mesmerizing 
surroundings it’s the life along the backwaters that makes this a 
fascinating experience. Overnight on board.

Kumarakom

After breakfast disembark from houseboat and check in to the Hotel/resort, 
Today visit to bird sanctuary. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 6

DAY 7

Kumarakom – Departure (76Kms)

After breakfast check out from hotel and travel to Cochin Airport/Railway 
Station.
