Highlights of your Journey
Guwahati – Hajo – Suwalkuchi – Guwahati (Approx. 50 KM / 2 Hours)
On your arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will be welcomed by our company
representative after that transfer to your hotel and later go on an
excursion to Hajo & Suwalkuchi, Hajo is the centre for various religions –
Hayagriva-Madhab Temple (Hindu and Buddhist) & Pao-Mecca (Islam) is located
about 28 km from Guwahati. According to mythology, the Pandavas had taken
shelter in this region during their agyatvas or the period in hiding. Also,
visit the village ‘Moriyapatty’ it is village famous for its Bell metal
crafting. Then drive to Suwalkuchi – AKA “Manchester of East”, this is
India’s largest weaving village where the entire population is engaged in
weaving silk products. Assam produces three unique varieties of silk –
“Muga” The Golden Silk, “Eri/Endi Silk” and “Pat Silk”. It is believed that
the hand-looming of Muga Silk at this scale is done nowhere else in the
world. The major products of Muga are “Mekhela Chador” an Assamese version
of Indian Saree and “Gamosa” used as a scarf. Later come back to Guwahati
and the evening at leisure, pick up one person from Guwahati Airport at 3 PM
and transfer to Hotel for overnight stay. Overnight stay at Guwahati
Guwahati to Nameri National Park (Approx.225 KM / 5-6 Hours)
Today after breakfast drive towards Nameri National Park, on arrival in
Nameri check-in to the hotel, The Nameri National Park is located in the
foothills of the Eastern Himalayas, the park is known for its substantial
population of elephants and Nature trails through thick jungle and dry
riverbeds, organized by forest authorities and accompanied by a forest
guard, offers the visitors for bird watching. Birdlife is varied and
abundant with nearly 400 species finding their way into an ever-expanding
checklist, you can also enjoy Rafting in the gentle rapids of the
Jia-Bhoroli River and another activity that can be enjoyed is angling.

DAY 3
Nameri National Park to Dirang (Approx.165 KM / 5-6 Hours)
Today after breakfast drive towards Dirang that has the picturesque Monpa
valley (8600 Feet). En-Route we will visit the Bomdila Monastery which was
constructed by Tsona Gontse Rinpoche (The 12th Reincarnate), the monastery
is one of the most famous attractions of Bomdila and was inaugurated in 1965
and is an abode for the monks and Lamas. Upon arrival at Dirang Check-In to
the hotel and in the evening you are free to visit the hot water spring,
regional sheep farm, Sangti Valley and Yak research centre. Overnight stay

Dirang – Sela Pass – Tawang (Approx.130 KM / 4-5 Hours)
Today after breakfast drive towards the most famous tourist destination of
Arunachal Pradesh known as Tawang, you will drive through the beautiful
valley of Dirang to reach the Sela Pass (13680 Feet) en-route bubbling river
and colourful tribes will greet you also spend some time around Paradise
Lake. Later continue your drive towards Tawang on arrival Check-In to the
hotel and in the evening visit the Craft Centre and traditional Monpa
village. Overnight stay in Tawang

Tawang – Bumla Pass – Tawang (Approx.40 KM / 2 Hours)
Today early morning drive towards Bumla Pass (Altitude 4600 Meter / 15,200
Feet) which is located on the Indo-China border. This pass is one of the
most off-beat mountain passes in the world and is on the route that was
taken by the 14th Dalai Lama when he escaped China to seek refuge in India.
Later visit the famous Tawang Monastery which was founded by Mera Lama Lodre
Gyaltso in the 17th Century, he was the contemporary of the 5th Dalai Lama.
At present, the monastery accommodates more than 500 monks and houses
priceless Buddhist texts and scriptures. Overnight stay at Tawang
Tawang – Zemithang – Tawang (Approx.80 KM / 3-4 Hours)
Today early morning drive for an excursion towards Zemithang here you will
visit the sky looming Gorsam Chorten which was constructed by Lama Prathar
of Kharman village in 13th Century many devotees visit it during the
Gorsam-Kora festival. Overnight stay in Tawang

DAY 7
Tawang to Bomdila (Approx.170 KM / 5-6 Hours)
Today after breakfast drive back towards Bomdila, en-route stop to visit the
1962 Indo-China war memorial dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat of
the 4th Battalion of the Garhwal Rifles Infantry Regiment, he showed his
heroism by fighting and holding back the Chinese army for 72 hours all by
himself before succumbing to an enemy bullet. The memorial is located 25 KM
from Twang and is surrounded by scenic terrain just below the Sela Pass.
Continue your drive towards Bomdila en-route enjoy the beauty of Snow-Clad
peaks namely Kangto (7090 Meter), Nyegi Kangsang (7050 Meter), Gorichen
(6488 Meter). On arrival check-in to the hotel, the evening is at leisure.

Bomdila – Tipi – Kaziranga National Park (Approx.205 KM / 5-6
Hours)
Today after breakfast drive towards Kaziranga National Park, en-route visit
the Orchid Research Centre at Tipi which houses over 7500 orchids of
different varieties, later continue to drive towards Kaziranga on arrival
check-in to the hotel, the Kaziranga National park is famous for its
one-horned Rhino and was declared UNESCO World Heritage site in 1985, on
arrival check-in to the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure.

Kaziranga Safari & Drive to Guwahati (Approx.195 KM / 3-4 Hours)
Today in the morning enjoy the Jeep Safari in one of the ranges of the park
and later drive towards Guwahati, on arrival check-in to the hotel and later
in the evening enjoy the river cruise on the Brahmaputra River.
Overnight stay at Guwahati.
