Arrival at Bhubaneswar
On arrival at Bhubaneswar airport transfer to the hotel. Later if time
permit half day sightseeing of famous city temples including Rajarani,
Parsurameswar, Mukteswar ( Gem of Orissan architecture), Brahmeswar &
Lingaraj (it is the biggest temple in Bhubaneswar). Overnight at
Bhubaneswar.
DAY 3
Bhubaneswar – Dhauli – Pipli – Raghurajpur – Puri
Morning visit to Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves ( the oldest rock cut
caves ). Then drive to Puri enroute visit Dhauli the peace pagoda, Pipli the
applique work village & Raghurajpur craft village. On arrival at Puri check
in to the hotel. Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri.
Puri – Konark – Puri
Morning visit to Jagannath temple ( non hindus are not allowed ). Then drive
to Konark to visit the Sun temple ( one of the world famous heritage site ).
Enroute visit Ramchandi temple, Chandrabhaga beach & fishermens village.
Return back to Puri. Evening visit to beach market. Overnight at Puri.
Gopalpur – Taptapani – Saura Tribe – Rayagada
Morning drive to Rayagada enroute visit Taptapani the hot sulpheric spring &
Saura tribal villages . On arrival at Rayagada check in to the hotel.
Overnight at Rayagada.
DAY 6
Rayagada – Bisamkatak – Rayagada
Morning drive to Dukum ( near Bisamkatak ) to visit weekly market of Desia
kondh ( weekly market commence on Tuesday only ) . Later visit to Dokra
crafts village at Jhigidi. Return back to Rayagada. Overnight at Rayagada.
DAY 9
Jeypore – Ankadelli – Jeypore
After breakfast, drive to Ankadelli to visit the famous Bonda tribes (weekly
market commence on Thursday only ), who comes once every week for their
weekly market. It is a unique opportunity to see such a colourful
concentration of typical tribals at one place. Most interesting is to watch
the Bonda woman in their colourful Jewellaries and marketing
commodities.Then drive back to Jeypore. Overnight at hotel in Jeypore.
Jeypore – Kunduli – Jagdalpur
After breakfast, drive to Kunduli to visit the weekly market of Paraja
tribes ( weekly market commence on Friday only ) . It is the biggest market
of the tribal area. Then visit Jagannath Temple & tribal meusem at
Korapute.Lunch at Jeypore . Then drive to Jagdalpur on way, visit the
Kotapada (a weaving village) . permit require to enter into chittigarh
Overnight at Jagdalpur.
DAY 10
Jagdalpur – Kanker
Morning visit to Kondagaon ( Rot iron craft centre ). Then visit to
Narayanpur Sunday market also see cockfight. Then proceed to Kanker and
check in to the hotel. Overnight at Kanker.
DAY 12
Kanker – Sirpur – Raipur
Morning drive to Sirpur enroute visit to Champaner & Rajim. Then visit to
Sirpur Buddhist site and proceed to Raipur. Overnight at Raipur.
